The annual report provides an overview of Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission's performance results and financial highlights for 2008 and the Commission's straegic direction for 2008-2010. The Strategic Plan 2008-2010 provides additional information on the Commission's strategic direction set by the Minister of Human Resources, Labour and Employment which focuses on four areas:

- education and awareness of workplace health and safety,
- claims management, and;
