Purchasing

The Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission (WHSCC) operates under the Public Tender Act & Regulations of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. All public tenders are advertised electronically through this web site.

Tender Conditions

All tenders must be received in an opaque sealed envelope clearly marked with tender name and number to:

• No electronic transmissions of tenders bids will be accepted.
• No faxed tender submission will be accepted. 
• Onus is on potential bidders to check the web site for tenders, changes to tenders, and addendums. 
• Successful bidders will be listed on the web site following tender award.
• The lowest or any tender is not necessarily accepted by the WHSCC. 
• Closing time of web site advertised tenders will be Newfoundland Standard (NST) time or Newfoundland Daylight Saving (NDT) time.
• Specifications will be available online the next business day following the advertisement appearing in print.
• Anyone who obtains copies of the specifications from this web site should inform the Manager of Purchasing at the above address and phone number or at dsenior@whscc.nl.ca in case of addendums.
